About
Eleonor Andersson is a 23-year-old Swedish-American artist from New York City, based in Connecticut, Wyoming, and NYC.
Andersson graduated from Wesleyan University in May 2024 with a degree in Studio Art and Psychology and is currently studying at NYU to be an art therapist. She completed her undergraduate painting thesis (O.C.V: A Self-reflexive Investigation Applying Methods in Ocular Cognitive Vivisection) with high honors under her advisor, oil painter Tula Telfair. She has received multiple awards including the Boynes Artist Award and was a finalist for the CFA Artist of Year. She has been published in the Penn Journal of Arts and Sciences, Sage Magazine, and has multiple published interviews. She has exhibited works in Greenwich, Poughkeepsie, and Brooklyn.
